Basic food-hygiene training for students or new staff can now be delivered in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost.

This new interactive CD ROM will provide you with the ideal introduction to food hygiene. Fully illustrated and packed with easy to understand messages, the programme takes just one hour to complete while providing you with everything you need to know about food hygiene.

E-Learning means that the trainee no longer has to be away from their place of work for long periods of time, and the training can be carried out at a pace and time to suit the individual.

The CD-ROM contains four training modules covering core learning material:

• Personal Hygiene – including work wear requirements and how to work in accordance with food legislation.
• Food Safety – concentrating on food protection, preservation and spoilage.
• Principles of Cleaning – How to clean food areas correctly,thoroughly and safely.
• Waste Disposal and Pest Control – Including identification and control of pests.

On successful completion of the course, each learner will receive an Improve certificate as proof of training.
