Below are some useful dates for your diary detailing events and exhibitions in the food and drink manufacturing calendar.

As sector skills council for food and drink, you will find that Improve will be in attendence at many of these occasions, so do come along and meet the team.

15 November 2007 The True Taste Wales Food & Drink Awards 2007/08
The awards recognise quality, innovation and excellence in the Welsh food and drink industry with more than 500 products and services judged each year.
12 February 2008 Scottish Food and Drink Conference 2008
Scotland Food & Drink conference at Gleneagles on the 12th and 13th February 2008. The event will launch Scotland Food & Drink, a new industry led food and drink membership organisation, which will drive forward the Scottish Food and drink agenda in the future.
27 February 2008 Moving away from artificial food colours
A technical symposium organised by the Food Standards Agency in conjunction with the Food and Drink Federation.
11 March 2008 Banff and Buchan Open Night
Banff & Buchan College will be holding its annual Open Night on Tuesday 11th March from 12.30pm to early evening.
14 March 2008 SVQs in Food and Drink Manufacturing - Networking Event
Networking event to explore opportunities arising from the new standards and SVQ awards in Food and Drink Manufacturing and share updates with external verifiers and Improve Ltd.
06 April 2008 Bakery Industry Exhibition 2008
Over 120 bakery suppliers will be gathering at the Baking Industry Exhibition over four days from 6th - 9th April 2008 held at the NEC, Birmingham.

17 June 2008 The Inaugural British Food Journal Annual Lecture
You are invited to attend: 'Caused Food Poisoning?: See you in Court? - What every business should know about the costs of food poisoning' to be held at the Royal Institute of Public Health in London on the 17th June 2008 from 11.00am.
