Improve strategy 2007/08

It is now three years since Improve received its Sector Skills Council licence and over the last 36-months the shape and face of the food and drink manufacturing industry has evolved faster than most would have predicted.

Last year Improve produced a piece of work to explain how the work Improve has conducted in the past and the plans we are developing for the future fit together to ‘Build the Big Picture’ of skills and training in the food and drink industry.

It also demonstrates how the different project work fit together as interdependent activities that will address the skills needs of the sector including:

·    SSA reform
·    Qualifications Reform
·    Developing Learning Frameworks
·    Skills Academy
